Day 1
Destination: Entebbe
Travel Duration: 20 Minutes
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your driver guide carrying a placard written your names will be waiting to drive you to your accommodation.
In any case you may need to go for any activity around Entebbe, below are some to choose from;

Activities to choose from are as follow:
Nature walk at Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
The gardens were laid out in 1898 and cover an area of 40 hectares of different vegetation zones including the tropical rain forest. A variety of bird species and primates like monkeys can be sighted.

Sunset cruise.
A sunset cruise on Lake Victoria bonds you with Nature as the sun creates beautiful orange colors while setting.
On board are snacks, soft drinks and local beers.

Day 2
Destination: Jinja
Travel Duration: 2 Hours
Activities: Boat cruise
The bright day begins with breakfast before departing to Jinja for a boat cruise to the source of the longest River in the world, the Nile!
On arrival, you will board a local boat that will not only take you to the source of River Nile but also encounter a variety of wildlife like Nile Monitor Lizards and quite a number of colorful bird species.

Destination: Sipi Falls
Travel duration: 3-4 hours
Activities: Cycling and Sundowner
Cycling
As the sun rises, the anticipated beautiful day begins. Breakfast will be served and later join the cycling crew for briefing.
The activity will be conducted along the designated circuit that goes through farmlands, the Nile river banks, the scenic views of the oldest port in Uganda and Jinja City.

Sundowner
After a long drive, no better way of relaxing your mind than a sundowner treat while enjoying drinks and snacks!
Right on top of Sipi Highlands, a cocktail of scenic landscapes colored by the sun setting, offers one of the best nature’s beautiful sceneries.

Day 4
Destination: Pian Upe Game reserve
Travel duration: 2-3 Hours
Activities: Hiking and Abseiling Sipi Falls and night safari
Hiking and Abseiling
No better way of testing your fears and the happiness that comes with it, after overcoming the adrenaline in you!
The activity begins from the top of the falls as you are well tied on the ropes and left to slide descend slowly until you get to the bottom while viewing different levels of the falls, agricultural fields and the beautiful landscape.
At the bottom of the falls, your guide will be waiting to hike with you through coffee plantations, Banana fields and local communities.

Evening Safari
Pian Upe Wildlife reserve is one of the unique protected areas with some of the rare species of animals in Uganda.
During the evening Safari, animals likely to be encountered are Cheetahs, Roan antelopes, Zebras, Giraffes, Elands Leopards and birds like Ostriches among others.

Destination: Pian Upe
Activity: Morning safari
Early in the morning after breakfast, the search for wildlife will resume.
During the safari, beautiful sceneries of the Mountains and endless savanna plains that inhabit wildlife like Cheetahs, Leopards, Giraffes, Hyenas, Topis and Ostriches among others are part of the attractions to lookout for.

Destination: Kidepo Valley National Park
Travel Duration: 4-5hours
Activity: Evening Safari
While on your drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, you can’t miss to see the scenic landscapes, rich culture of the Karamojong people and abundant wildlife.
Ranked as one of the remotest Parks in Africa and among the top ten to visit, expect to witness wildlife in big herds like Buffalos, Elephants, Zebras, Elands, Rock climbing Lions, Cheetahs and more during the Evening safari.

Day 7
Destination: Kidepo Valley National Park
Activities: Half day game drive, Bush Breakfast and Night Game drive
Morning Safari
The day begins early as we go for the morning game drive in search of cats like lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs.
Other animals to look out for are giraffes, Oribis, Zebras, Uganda Kobs, Jackals, Rock hyrax, hyenas and a variety of colorful birds like vultures, Eagles and francolins among others.
Bush breakfast
After the morning safari, bush breakfast will be served and later retire to the lodge.

Night game drive
When all is silent in the early hours of the night, we will move out with an armed ranger and the flash light, to search for nocturnal animals.
Animals to look out for are Hares, Leopards, Lions, Jackals, Janet cats and Bushbabies among others. The night will definitely not end the same!

Destination: Kidepo Valley National Park
Activity: Karamojong cultural experience and Evening Safari
Karamojong Cultural experience
In a remote extreme northern end of Uganda, lies a minority tribe of the Karamojong people.
A visit to their community, introduces you to their social lifestyle of traditional leadership, traditional housing, dances, cuisines, marriage norms and their history.

Evening Safari
As the sun begins to set, your evening safari will commence. It is the right time when animals become active again after a long day of rest from the scorching sun. Animals expected to encounter are Giraffes, Buffalos, Lions, Elephants and Zebras among others.

Destination: Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
Travel Duration: 6 hours
Activities: Travel to Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch and Rhino tracking
The Journey starts early as we head to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking.
The sceneries are breath taking as the era of volcanic eruption shaped the region into various landforms that made it unique from the rest of the country.
Rhino tracking
The activity is conducted on foot as you walk with a ranger guide in the wild to search or locate the Rhinos. Other animals to encounter are Bush bucks, Oribis, vervet monkeys, warthogs and Uganda Kobs among others.

DAY 10
Destination: Murchison falls national park
Travel duration: 4 hour
Activity: Visit to the Top of the Falls and Night Game Drive
Visit to the Top of the Falls
On arrival in the Park, you are to drive via Murchison falls and later continue your journey to the Lodge. Further more, Murchison falls are believed to be the most powerful Falls in the World.

Night Game drive
Guided by an armed ranger, with flash lights you will embark on the search for nocturnal animals. Animals likely to be encountered are Lions, Leopards, Jackals and Hares among others. Diurnal animals too like Elephants and more are likely to be seen.

Destination: Murchison falls national park
Activity duration: full day
Activity: Morning safari and Boat cruise
Morning Safari
For most of the safaris to be successful, an early wake is mandatory! By 6:30 Am, the game drive in search of lions, leopards, Elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas and many others before they get into their hideouts will commence.

Boat cruise
On the shores of the Nile, abundance of mammals that come to swim and drink are our target. such are; Crocodiles, elephants, Hippos, Nile monitor lizards, Giraffes and many bird species will be encountered during the cruise.

Destination: Kibale National Park
Travel duration: 6 hours
Activities: Drive to Kibale and Local market experience
The Primates Safari in Uganda takes shape as the Journey is headed Kibale national park. While on your way, expect to encounter beautiful landscapes, Tea plantations and forests and among others.
You are to have lunch in Fort Portal.

Local Market Experience
After your lunch, you will visit the local market to experience how different our markets operate. The local merchandise to expect are fresh agricultural products, different fish species, cultural wears and the local people among others.

Day 13
Destination: Kibale National Park
Activity: chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi swamp walk
Chimpanzee Tracking
The activity resumes in the morning at 8: AM. You will be assigned a group of 6 people, with a ranger as your guide. After briefing, the ranger will walk you in the forest to locate the chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

Bigodi Swamp Walk
Later after tracking, your primates Safari in Uganda continues with Bigodi Swamp walk that offers an opportunity to look at more seven primate species that may have not been sighted during Chimpanzee tracking. You also get to visit the local community and experience their culture.

Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Travel duration: 5 hours
The day’s journey ends in the magical forest of Bwindi impenetrable national park! Along the way, a gem safari in the southern part of queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha sector, will be conducted in search of tree climbing lions.

Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Activity: Gorilla Tracking and Community Experience
Duration: 2-6 hours
Gorilla Tracking
The Primates Safari in Uganda, gets to it’s climax as you go for Gorilla tracking! Early in the morning you will get briefed and assigned a Gorilla group.
In addition, you are highly recommended to hire a potter or helper to carry your backpack while tracking Gorillas so as to help you navigate the rough terrain.

Community experience
The Batwa community lived with Gorillas in the forest before their eviction in 1991. While on the cultural experience, they share their lifestyle before and after leaving the forest.
This includes; learning about herbal medicines, hunting skills, traditional dances, cuisines and local beer brewing among others.

Destination: Entebbe International Airport
Duration: 9 hours by road or 1 hour by flight
The 16 Days of the Big 5 and Primates Safari in Uganda, unfortunately comes to the end. Depending on the time of your flight back home, your guide will either drive you or take a domestic flight to the Airport.
